Going to Boracay:
From Manila by plane. There are no direct flights to Boracay. The closest airport to Boracay is Caticlan Airport (said airport is very close to the Caticlan Jetty Port where motorized boats are stationed that will take you to Boracay Island).
There is also another airport that you can take which is Kalibo International Airport which is around 60 kilometres from Boracay. Airfare is cheaper if you take Kalibo as compared to Caticlan. If you will take Kalibo Airport, air-conditioned vans can bring you to the Caticlan Jetty Port (about 1 to 2 hours drive), and then take a boat from Caticlan Jetty Port which will take you to Boracay Island. Boat ride to Boracay is around 20 - 30 minutes from the jetty port.
From Manila by RoRo/Bus. You can also take the RoRo, a cheaper alternative is to ride a 2Go RoRo ferry from Batangas Port directly to Caticlan Port. You can bring your car and drive to Batangas Port. There are parking spaces where you can leave your vehicle.
Another option is to take a bus in Cubao going to Caticlan (Ceres Bus). Travel time is around 10 hours.
