There are seasons in every leader's journey when the burdens we carry feel almost too heavy to bear. In recent times, I found myself navigating through one of the most challenging chapters of my career and personal life. The weight of responsibility, the sleepless nights, and the silent questions about whether I was doing enough for those who depended on meit all became overwhelming.
Yet today, I am filled with an indescribable sense of gratitude and renewal. Through reflection and faith, I realized that not all burdens are mine to carry, and that sometimes, the trials we endure are shaping us for something greater. This newfound clarity is a blessing I attribute to the grace of God and the redeeming love of Jesus, who have been my strength and compass throughout this journey. Looking Back: The Weight of Leadership Leadership is often painted as a path of victories, but the truth is, it is also a journey through valleys. There were moments when I questioned my own decisions, feeling the immense responsibility for the well-being of my team and the future of our organization. Guilt and self-doubt found their way into my heart, especially when those I led faced hardships alongside me. I wondered if I could have done more, or if I was enough. A Moment of Realization But in the quiet moments of prayer and reflection, the truth became clear: I am not defined by my failures or by circumstances beyond my control. I am defined by my faith, my perseverance, and my willingness to rise after every fall. The realization that I am not alone in my strugglesthat there is a greater plan at worklifted a weight from my spirit. I learned to surrender what I could not change and to trust that every trial serves a purpose. Renewed Spirit and Unwavering Faith With this renewal came a deep sense of gratitude. I am grateful for the strength to endure, for the lessons learned in adversity, and for the unwavering support of those who stood by me. Above all, I am grateful to God, our Creator, and to Jesus, our Saviour, for guiding me through the storm and using every challenge to shape me into a better leader and person. Gratitude and Moving Forward To my team, my family, and everyone who believed in me even when I doubted myselfthank you. Your faith and encouragement have been a light in my darkest moments. I am committed to leading with renewed integrity, compassion, and hope. I want my story to remind others that no matter how heavy the burden or how fierce the storm, there is always a way forward when we trust in a higher purpose. As I look ahead, I do so with a grateful heart and a spirit ready to embrace new beginnings. May my journey inspire others to hold on, to keep believing, and to find gratitude even in the midst of lifes greatest challenges.

Inspired by “The Life Trade” by Doe Zantamata In business, as in life, we are constantly faced with choices—what to hold on to, what to let go, and what to trade for something greater. Doe Zantamata’s “The Life Trade” offers timeless wisdom: trade your fears for courage, regrets for lessons learned, and misery for happiness. For entrepreneurs and leaders, these trades are not just personal aspirations—they are essential tools for building resilient organizations and inspiring teams. Trading Fears for Courage: The Entrepreneurial Leap Every entrepreneurial journey begins with a leap of faith. When OneNetworx started in a small garage office, we were surrounded by uncertainty. Would our vision take off? Would our ideas resonate? The answer wasn’t clear, but what mattered was trading fear for courage—choosing action over hesitation. Courage allowed us to pivot from a travel agency to a multi-product marketing company, survive the loss of a co-founder, and pioneer home-based employment long before it was the norm. Regrets for Lessons Learned: Growth Through Experience In management, mistakes are inevitable. What sets great leaders apart is the willingness to learn, not linger in regret. At OneNetworx, every setback—whether a missed target, a failed partnership, or a challenging client—has been a stepping stone. We encourage our team to reflect, adapt, and move forward, using every experience as a lesson in resilience and innovation. Worries for Surrender: Trusting the Process Entrepreneurs and managers are natural worriers. We obsess over numbers, growth, and the future. But as Zantamata suggests, sometimes we must surrender—to trust our systems, our people, and the process. OneNetworx’s proprietary online tools for recruitment, training, and reporting didn’t appear overnight. They evolved because we surrendered to experimentation, welcomed feedback, and trusted in continuous improvement. Doubts for Trust: Cultivating High-Performance Teams Doubt can paralyze a team, but trust empowers it. At OneNetworx, we value attitude, loyalty, and commitment over credentials. Our most successful salespeople aren’t always those with the fanciest degrees—they’re those who believe in our mission and in each other. By trading doubts for trust, we’ve built a culture where everyone feels ownership and pride in their work. Sorrows for Joy: Celebrating Small Wins Business is tough. There are days when losses overshadow gains, and the weight of responsibility feels overwhelming. Yet, joy is found in the small victories—a client’s heartfelt thank you, a team member’s growth, a new partnership. Our incentive programs, recognition awards, and supportive culture ensure that we celebrate these moments, trading sorrow for collective joy. Anger for Compassion: Leading with Empathy Leadership isn’t just about driving results—it’s about understanding people. The Filipino workplace culture, with its nuances of “pakikisama” and community, has shaped how we manage at OneNetworx. When conflicts arise, we trade anger for compassion, seeking to understand before being understood. This approach has helped us foster trust, loyalty, and long-lasting relationships with both employees and partners. A sunrise over a mountain landscape, with a diverse group of entrepreneurs and leaders exchanging symbolic items—each representing positive trades like courage, trust, and joy. The scene is warm, uplifting, and subtly Filipino, a perfect visual on leadership, entrepreneurship, and transformation at OneNetworx. Misery for Happiness: The OneNetworx Way Ultimately, every trade we make as leaders—fear for courage, anger for compassion, misery for happiness—shapes not just our businesses, but the lives of those around us. At OneNetworx, our mission is to be the most preferred marketing and sales outsourcing company in the Philippines, providing sustainable income and meaningful work to marginalized sectors. We believe that happiness in work leads to happiness in life, and that’s a trade worth making every day. If you’re an entrepreneur, business owner, or aspiring leader looking to transform your approach and achieve real growth, it’s time to consider making your own “life trade” with us. Through our flagship Sales Outsourcing and Partnership Programs, OneNetworx empowers you to scale your business, access a highly trained sales force, and tap into innovative home-based management solutions—so you can focus on what matters most: leading with courage, learning from every experience, and building a happier, more resilient organization. For many new entrepreneurs, business is often seen as a pursuit of profit, growth, and success. But what if your business could be something more? What if it could also be your way of serving God and making a difference in the lives of others? Starting the Day with Gratitude and Guidance. In my own journey as a business owner, I’ve learned that the most important meetings I have each day are not with clients or partners, but with God. I start every morning with a prayer of thanksgiving, acknowledging all the blessings—big and small—that have brought me to where I am. Before tackling the day’s challenges, I ask for God’s wisdom in every decision I will make. It’s amazing how things become clearer after prayer. Problems that once seemed overwhelming become manageable. Decisions that felt impossible suddenly have direction. When you put God at the center of your business, you invite clarity, peace, and purpose into your work. God at the Core of Business Decisions. Putting God first doesn’t just change how you feel—it changes how you act. It transforms the way you make decisions and how you deal with clients, employees, and partners. When you see your business as an instrument for serving God, every transaction becomes an opportunity to serve, to be fair, and to show integrity. There will be times when you’re tested—when partners betray you, when clients are unreasonable, or when employees disappoint. I’ve been there. I once faced a betrayal from a business partner, a non-life insurance company, that nearly destroyed everything I had built. The anger and pain were real. Legally, I knew I had every right to fight back—and I could have won. But instead of letting revenge rule my heart, I chose to lift it all up to God. I trusted that He would take care of the situation, and that justice, in His time, would prevail. Serving Others Through Business. When you surrender your business to God, you begin to see it as more than a source of income. It becomes your instrument to serve others—to provide jobs, to help clients, to create value in your community. Your business becomes your ministry, and every day is an opportunity to make a positive impact. Remembering Our True Purpose. At the end of the day, we are all just temporary players in this world. Our businesses, no matter how successful, are not ends in themselves. They are tools—opportunities to serve others and to serve God. When we remember this, we find deeper meaning in our work, greater resilience in tough times, and true joy in every little victory. Let your business be your way of serving God. Start each day with gratitude, seek His wisdom in every decision, and trust Him with the challenges you face. In doing so, you’ll discover that your business is not just about making a living—it’s about living a life that truly matters.

READ MORE There is something timeless and breathtaking about watching an eagle soar. With wings stretched wide, it rides the winds high above the clouds, unafraid of the storms below. The eagle is a symbol of strength, resilience, and, most importantly, rebirth—a reminder that no matter how turbulent life becomes, we all have the power to rise again. Entrepreneurship is often romanticized as a journey of bold ideas and big wins. But the truth is, every entrepreneur faces seasons of uncertainty, loss, and self-doubt. There are moments when the path forward seems hidden by clouds, and the weight of setbacks threatens to pin us to the ground. Yet, like the eagle, true entrepreneurs find their greatest strength not in avoiding the storm, but in using it to soar higher. Rebirth After Setbacks Every ending in business is also a beginning. The closure of a venture, the loss of a key client, or even the dissolution of a partnership can feel like defeat. But these moments also offer the rarest gift: the chance to reinvent, to shed what no longer serves us, and to return to the sky with renewed vision. Think of the eagle molting—letting go of old feathers so that stronger ones can grow. Entrepreneurs, too, must be willing to let go of outdated beliefs, failed strategies, or toxic relationships. It’s not easy. It requires courage to release the familiar and embrace the unknown. But it is only by doing so that we create space for growth and new opportunities. Lessons from the Eagle
Embracing New Beginnings
No matter where you are in your entrepreneurial journey, remember: it’s never too late to begin again. Each sunrise offers a blank page. Each setback is a lesson, not a life sentence. The courage to rise, to spread your wings after a fall, is what defines true success—not just in business, but in life. So, when you find yourself grounded by circumstances beyond your control, look to the eagle. Trust that you, too, are built for the heights. Embrace the winds of change, rise above your storms, and let each new beginning carry you closer to your dreams. Recently, we received a heartfelt email from Rolando, a determined entrepreneur facing challenges on his journey. His story deeply moved us, and with his gracious permission, we are sharing his message and our heartfelt advice to him. We hope that by sharing Rolando's journey, we can inspire others to overcome their own obstacles and continue striving towards their dreams. Hello OneNetworx, My name is Rolando, and I'm reaching out to share a deeply personal struggle that has been weighing heavily on my heart. I am an entrepreneur, and for the past several years, I've poured my heart and soul into building my business. It's been a journey filled with highs and lows, but recently, the challenges have become overwhelming. Financial difficulties have hit my business hard. Despite my best efforts to innovate and adapt, the numbers just aren't adding up. The stress of meeting expenses, paying suppliers, and keeping the business afloat has become a constant burden. Each day feels like a battle to stay above water, and I find myself losing hope and interest in the very dream I once cherished. What makes this situation even more heart-wrenching is my team. My employees are more than just workers; they're like family. They've stood by me through thick and thin, contributing their talents and dedication to help the business grow. The thought of having to let them go, of seeing them lose their jobs and livelihoods, is something I can't bear to contemplate. Yet, as I look at the financial realities, closing the business appears to be the most viable option. It seems like the only way to prevent further losses and protect myself from sinking deeper into debt. But deep down, a part of me clings to the hope that a miracle might happen, that somehow, against all odds, the business could get back on track. I've spent countless nights wrestling with this decision, torn between my responsibility to my employees and the harsh financial truths. The uncertainty of what the future holds is daunting, and I feel like I'm standing at a crossroads with no clear direction. I'm sharing my story here in the hope that others who have faced similar dilemmas might offer some guidance or share their experiences. It's comforting to know that I'm not alone in this struggle, and I'm eager to hear how others have navigated the complexities of entrepreneurship in tough times. Thank you for taking the time to listen to my story. Your support and understanding mean the world to me as I navigate this challenging chapter of my life. Warm regards, Rolando Our Reply: Dear Rolando, First, let me say how deeply I empathize with your situation. In the journey of life, there are moments that define us, moments that challenge us to the core and force us to choose a path. For me, that moment came on October 11, 2016, a day forever etched in my memory. It was the day my father, my greatest supporter and co-visionary, left this world. His sudden departure was not just a personal loss but a turning point in my life.
Back in 1996, at the tender age of 21, I embarked on a career as an employee. Fresh out of college, my heart was set on building my own business. My father was my biggest cheerleader, urging me to pursue my dreams. Yet, without the knowledge or support system to establish a business, it remained a distant wish. I found comfort in the stability of employment, but with the push from my father - together , we started OneNetworx from our humble garage.
Despite the small beginnings, fear held me back from committing fully to the business. The thought of failure loomed large, especially considering the challenges of starting and maintaining a business in the Philippines. As OneNetworx entered its fifth year, growth was slow, and I contemplated closing the company to focus on my executive job. It seemed like the practical choice, a path that I will follow until retirement age.
But then, life threw me a curveball. My father's sudden passing left me at a crossroads. The easy choice was to close OneNetworx, to give up on the dreams we had built together. Yet, deep down, a part of me burned with the passion to continue our vision. It was a time of inner conflict, where realism clashed with dreams.
In those moments of uncertainty, I turned to prayer. I surrendered my fears, doubts, and ambitions to the Lord. I realized that relying solely on my understanding was limiting. Instead, I chose to trust in His greater plan. I let go of control and allowed Him to lead the way.
And you know what happened? The rest, as they say, is history. By surrendering everything to the Lord, I discovered a profound truth: His ways are always what's best for us. As our Creator, He has the power to transform our lives and lead us to a life beyond our wildest dreams. All we need to do is trust Him. Today, OneNetworx stands as a testament to faith and perseverance. It's a thriving company that not only fulfills my dreams but also serves as a beacon of hope for others. Through the ups and downs, I learned that when we let go and let God, miracles happen. So, if you find yourself at a crossroads, unsure of which path to take, remember this: surrender your fears, trust in His plan, and let Him guide you. For in His hands, our lives become the masterpiece they were always meant to be. In the journey of entrepreneurship, one of the most significant challenges is not the lack of resources or the complexity of business operations but the myriad of opinions from those around us. While feedback can be invaluable, allowing the doubts and negativity of others to cloud your vision can be detrimental to your dreams. The Power of Belief
As entrepreneurs, we are driven by a vision—a burning passion that fuels our every action. This vision is what sets us apart, propelling us to innovate and push boundaries. However, the path to success is often littered with naysayers and skeptics who question our capabilities and the feasibility of our ideas. It's crucial to remember that not everyone will understand your journey. The opinions of others are often shaped by their own experiences, fears, and limitations. Listening too closely to these voices can lead to self-doubt and hesitation, ultimately hindering your progress. Embracing Your Inner Drive The key to overcoming this challenge lies in embracing your inner drive. This is the force that keeps you moving forward, even when the odds seem stacked against you. It's about trusting your instincts and believing in your vision, regardless of external opinions. For entrepreneurs managing start-ups, like my journey in OneNetworx, this inner drive is what transforms dreams into reality. It's the passion that pushes you to work hard, innovate, and pursue your vision with unwavering determination. Staying Focused and Motivated Based on my experience, in order for me to maintain focus and motivation, I consider the following strategies:
As you navigate your entrepreneurial journey, remember this quote by Steve Jobs: "Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma—which is living with the results of other people's thinking." By staying true to your vision and ignoring the noise, you can achieve great things. Your journey is unique, and only you can define what success looks like. Keep pushing forward, and let your passion guide you to new heights. One day, your mom won’t call you anymore, and you’ll find yourself reaching for the phone, waiting for a ringtone that never comes. It’s in that silence that you’ll realize how her voice was the soundtrack of your life—guiding you through every joy, every heartbreak, and every mundane moment in between.
For me, this sentiment resonates deeply. My mom was not only a cherished part of my life but also an integral part of OneNetworx. An educator by profession, she was the one who encouraged me to encourage me to set-up the Sales Associate Certification Program, a comprehensive training initiative for aspiring sales associates at OneNetworx. Her passion for teaching and nurturing talent helped shape the company into what it is today. She passed away a few years ago, yet her influence and love continue to inspire me every day. Cherish your mother while she is still in this world. For one day, the holidays won’t be the same. You’ll set the table with her favorite dishes, trying to recreate the warmth that she brought with her laughter and stories. But the food will taste different, not because of the recipe, but because of the love that used to fill the room. One day, her advice will echo in your mind, but you’ll miss the way she said it—with that unique mix of wisdom and tenderness that only a mother can offer. You’ll long for those late-night talks, where her words wrapped around you like a blanket, offering comfort in a world that often feels cold. One day, you’ll look at the empty chair where she used to sit, and the house will feel too big, too quiet. The little things she did, the way she folded your laundry just right, or the scent of her perfume lingering in the hallway, will become memories you cling to—fragments of a love that shaped who you are. One day, your mom won’t call you anymore, and you’ll realize that it was never about the calls, but about the connection that ran deeper than words, a bond that time can’t erase. And in those moments of stillness, you’ll hold onto the lessons she taught you, the strength she passed on, and the love that will forever live in your heart. At OneNetworx, we understand the importance of connection and the role it plays in shaping our lives. Just as the bond with a mother is timeless, we strive to create lasting relationships with our clients, partners, and most specially our associates. Our Sales Associate Certification Program for instance is designed to educate and share valuable insights about sales and marketing, nurturing aspiring sales associates to thrive in their careers. Join us at OneNetworx, where we honor the bonds that define us and work together to create a future filled with opportunities and growth. Whether it's through personal connections or professional endeavors, we are here to support you every step of the way. If you are interested to join our Sales Associate Certification program. In the fast-paced world we live in, it's easy to become consumed by our desires and ambitions. We often push ourselves to achieve what we want, whether it's success in our careers, financial stability, or personal fulfillment. However, there comes a time when we must recognize the limits of our control and embrace the power of surrender.
Surrendering doesn't mean giving up; it means placing our trust in a higher power. By surrendering our family, finances, job, and business to God, we open ourselves to His guidance and wisdom. This act of faith brings a profound sense of peace and calm, allowing us to navigate life's challenges with grace. I once faced a moment of despair with OneNetworx, feeling hopeless and on the brink of giving up. It was during this challenging time that I chose to surrender everything to God. In doing so, I discovered not only His immense power but also His unwavering goodness. Trusting in Him brought clarity and strength, reminding me that I am never alone in this journey. Surrendering to God doesn't mean relinquishing responsibility; it means acknowledging that we are part of a greater plan. It’s about trusting that He is beside us, guiding us every step of the way. Through surrender, we find the courage to let go of our fears and embrace the unknown with faith. If you find yourself struggling, remember that surrendering to God can be the key to unlocking peace and fulfillment. Trust in His plan, and you will realize the profound impact of His presence in your life. Let go, have faith, and witness the transformation that comes from truly surrendering everything to Him.
In our busy life, we often overlook the silent sacrifices our parents make to provide us with a stable home and a nurturing environment. It's easy to take for granted the food on our table and the roof over our heads, forgetting the countless hours and relentless dedication that go into making these comforts possible.
Our parents are the unsung heroes of our lives, working tirelessly to ensure our well-being. They put aside their dreams and desires, prioritizing our happiness and success above all else. Yet, in the whirlwind of growing up and chasing our ambitions, we may fail to express our gratitude until it’s too late. Reflecting on my own journey, I am grateful for the time I spent with my parents during their final years. Those moments are cherished memories, but I often find myself wishing they were still here to share in the triumphs and trials of OneNetworx. Their absence is a poignant reminder of the void left by their departure, a reminder that they will not witness the future successes of the company they supported so fervently. This reflection is not just a personal lament but a call to action for the younger generation. Let us honor our parents while they are still with us. Celebrate their presence in our lives, acknowledge their sacrifices, and express our gratitude openly. Don’t wait for a future that may never come to recognize their invaluable contributions. In their absence, we realize the depth of their love and the magnitude of their sacrifices. Let us not wait for that realization to dawn when it’s too late. Instead, let us cherish and celebrate our parents today, while they can still feel the warmth of our appreciation. "Honor your parents not just in words, but through actions of love and gratitude, for their sacrifices are the foundation upon which your successes are built." May this serve as a gentle reminder to cherish those who have given us everything, and to ensure they are part of our journey, both in spirit and in celebration.
